The general benchmark for each day is 1,667 words. This may fluctuate depending on the day, but don't worry! We've set goals for how many words you should have by the end of each week. Don't worry if you don't follow this; everyone's journey is different!
For Playwrights
We couldn't forget our playwrights! Most plays are about 100 pages, so aim for three pages a day. You could also divide your play by acts!
For Screenwriters
NaNoWriMo also applies to screenwriters and those who write scripts! The schedule may look a little different: aim for three pages a day, resulting in 90 pages on Day 30!
