Astrology Weekly: July 25th-31st

Weekly Moon Phase

  • July 25: 97% Full Moon

  • July 26-29th: Waning Gibbous Moon

  • July 30-31st: Last Quarter Moon

Current Planetary Zodiacs: (big 5, not including moon)

Sun in Leo:

Mercury in Cancer, then Leo: Mercury is in Cancer from July 11-27. Mercury in Cancer is a lovely placement for emotional exchanges and deeper knowledge. We seek what affects us personally, the people around us, and use our intuition as a form of trust when thinking and speaking with others.

Mercury is in Leo from July 27-August 11. As a contrast from Mercury in Cancer, we become more expressive, theatrical, and even lively. We like to have confidence, and may not be good listening. However, our thoughts and ideas become bigger and better.

Venus in Virgo: I'm sure astrologers have heard that Venus in Virgo is not a fun placement. However, I think that in terms of love languages, Virgo brings out quality time and acts of service. You want sense and purpose, and for not only your partner, but yourself to be satisfied. However, don't be too picky or critical of your partners.

Mars in Leo, then Virgo: Mars is in Leo from June 11-July 29. This placement brings pride (just in time, huh), confidence, and grandeur. We know what we want, but we don't think about the consequences to get it. Passions are at a peak, we want results, and fast.

Mars is in Virgo from July 29-September 14. This placement is not that comfortable in Mars, but it brings the mental work drive and preciseness that Mars encourages. The devil's in the details with Virgo.

Important Aspects:

For those who don't know: aspects are angles that determine how each planet's energies react with another planet's. They can affect an overall chart's meaning by giving more insight into how that planet behaves under it's current zodiac sign.

-Jupiter Retrograde: Takes place from July 28th in Aquarius, this is notable since Jupiter's retrograde started in Pisces, so dipping back into Aquarius can mean tying up loose ends from the last time Jupiter was in Aquarius. We are making room for new things, especially those that focus on friends, organizations, and improving the world as a whole.

Allow yourself to be who you are!

I'm not all-knowing (wish I was), just here to educate and give my personal opinion and advice that I think correlates with the placements of the planets in order to create the best possible scenarios & versions of ourselves. Thank you for supporting me!
